Domainmy humble little abode

Aya, ocassionally known as Ayame, is the keeper of this little home on the internet. A little about myself, hm? I'm not that great at describing myself, so you have been warned.

I'm currently 18, and I reside on the East coast of the US.

At the homepage I mentioned my interests...well, here, let me tell you about my dislikes.

My dislikes include spoilers, bugs, spoilers, spiders, spoilers, idiots, jerks, and well, you get the point. I'm friendly and easily amused, and I don't bite unless you do something terrible. :)

THE SITE was bought on March 1, 2007 as a present from the lovely Gali. She asked me what domain name I would get if I could get one, and I said Minutes later, poof! The domain was mine! She's amazing like that, yo. *glomps* There are multiple reasons why I chose the domain name Soul Eater is the name of Riku's weapon in the Kingdom Hearts series, and if you know me at all, then you'll know that Riku is my favorite video game character of all time. His weapon is a sword in the shape of dark blue and red wing that I analyzed to death. The name also describes my various obsessions very well, as they tend to... eat up my soul, in a less supernatural way than it sounds. My joined fanlistings page used to be called Soul Eater before I merged it with my fanlisting collective, btw. ^^;

As for the network name, it took me forever (as usual) to come up with. Hybrid Rebirth is actually a very symbolic title for me. Hybrid describes the type of characters I like most, meaning ones that fall far from generic personality types. I also like to think of myself as having an odd mix of styles in my layouts and overall creativity, but we won't get into that here. Rebirth is a word that goes way back to the days when Anime Paradise was my sole concern and cause on the internet. Every time I decided to revamp the whole site, I would call it another rebirth. AP has been through many phases, as have all of my sites, so there's a constant cycle of growth, death, and rebirth going on. So in the end, I chose Hybrid Rebirth as the network's name.
