Now I'll tell you why he makes me cry. Riku is mature, calm, and competitive. He almost always wins, but even when he loses, he never backs down from a challenge or gives up. He strengthens himself so that next time he won't lose. Such perseverance is rare. He's also daring, adventurous, and pretty much fearless. Riku loves delving into the unknown and exploring new places. His curiousity is what sparked the game, after all. Above all his qualities though, the ones I admire most are his loyalty and selflessness. He would do anything to save his friends. This guy will go to any lengths, no matter how much harm he does to himself, to save those he cares about. Watching him tears my heart into little pieces and makes it melt at the same time. I seriously love him (as much as you can love a fictional character, of course). Digging into symbolism, I love the entire twilight theme that surrounds him. I tend to have have a soft spot for "hybrids", which in this case would be his half-dark, half-light powers. As if all of that doesn't make me overflow with joy, Riku is absolutely sexy. He's got gorgeous piercing eyes and flowing silver-blue hair, not to mention a hot taste in clothing. I strongly believe that he looks to-die-for with any expression on his face, and I squeal like a dorky fangirl almost every time I see him. (I was flipping out while playing Reverse/Rebirth because he's so damn adorable.) Actually, the only time I don't is when he's talking because almost anything he says is either important, charming, or a beautiful combination of both. Did I mention his kick-ass abilities? Anyway, he's certainly quite attractive, but there's a lot more to him than that. It makes me sad how many people don't realize that...
