Miracle | Wishes
This is my favorite anime/manga series ever. It's got romance, action, angst, horror, comedy -- just about every genre possible. So many facets accompanied by beautiful artwork and lovable characters. Some call it another shoujo work, I call it a masterpiece that touched my soul. I've seen the whole anime, and read the whole manga, including the summaries of the side novels and sequel. It was also the first subbed anime series that I ever watched, and the first manga I ever bought, so it has an extra special place in my heart. ♥ I have a small shrine to it here. (2)
Yes, I already own the TFL-approved fanlisting to this, but I'd love to crosslist it into Bleach over at TAFL someday. It was Bleach's 2nd opening theme, and I instantly fell in love with it. I loved how the lyrics connected so well with the storyline at the time, and the scenes were very much to my liking. UVERworld did a fantastic job with this song, with Takuya's sexy vocals and the band's addictive beat. This is definitely my favorite anime opening ever, and it remains to be one of those songs that I just never get tired of. It's almost always on my playlist, and it increases my determination with whatever I'm doing. If I'm feeling down this song will lift my spirits and just encourage me to actually do something productive. I truly adore this song, and I'd love to be able to run the fanlisting on the other network too. :)
Sano, my dear, is one graceful, sexy high-jumper. Yes, almost all of the many men in that series are gorgeous. What sets him apart for me is not the fact that he's the main male character and gets more panel time, but his adorable personality and characteristics. He's overly protective of Mizuki (with good reason, though) to the point that it makes my heart flutter. He cares so much about other people, but he tries not to make it obvious. I admire the way he handles situations, because usually I end up laughing until my cheeks hurt. He's determined and independent, and he can be a bit overbearing sometimes, but he just doesn't want to make the same mistake twice. Overall he's just a really sweet guy (who gets sick by the smell of sweets! aww, such a cute story behind that...) who has a lot going for him. He's had a pretty rough history, yet he still manages to keep his ambition going strong. His dedication is beautiful, and I'd certainly be willing to cross an ocean to be with him.
This is my OTP. My most cherished relationship out of the hundreds I've come across. It's amazing that they're both able to be together as friends despite wanting more. They are pure crack and joy sprinkled with some warm and fuzzies. I keep rereading the series because they make me so dorky and happy. Oh love! <3 (1)
I fell for this soulful musician faster than any I've heard before. His voice is absolutely gorgeous, and he's a very passionate singer. Unlike most artists, he's very humble and just all-around adorable. He's really an inspiration to me.
A few years ago, I would not have imagined my favorite character from this amazing series to be a hero other than Clark Kent. All that changed when Mr. Oliver Queen - billionaire and modern-day Robin Hood - came into play. He is now the reason I continue to watch Smallville. Charming, with brains, brawn, and a whole lot of cash to fund his league of superheroes, Oliver is going to bring down the criminals in his own way. He gets things done right, and justice is his only purpose.
From happy-go-lucky antics to tearful meltdowns, this magician gets loads of love from me. He's far from perfect, and that's one of the reasons I adore him so much. He's had amazing character development, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for him (hopefully it's happy!).
My first impression of this hottie was something like "vhoifhidshfhdsf", which is always a good sign. His scorching body and overall prettiness made my jaw drop. However, as I continued to read about him, I realized that he's more than just a figure. He was more than one of those fleeting obsessions over attractive characters. His devotion to the one he loves is so deeply touching, and certainly very hard to find in a real guy. He's made me cry on more than one occasion, and I can't help but feel drawn to that. Also, his intelligence honestly never ceases to amuse me. His naivety is definitely part of his charm. He's built to be the perfect lover, and I certainly wouldn't mind buying him despite the insane cost. (1)
